La Giara is one of the oldest Sicilian factories, founded in 1953 and dedicated to the creation of handcrafted ceramics. Located on the slopes of the Nebrodi mountain range, the city of Santo Stefano di Camastra in the province of Messina represents a reference for the typical Sicilian ceramics. The ceramics are entirely made and painted by hand and arise from the desire to offer high quality craftsmanship.

Hand-painted ceramic piece, made and produced in Sicily, in Santo Stefano di Camastra, in the province of Messina, where the ceramic tradition is considered one of the most important in the area, thanks to the contribution it has given to improve the internationalization of the city, renowned Tyrrhenian Pearl of ancient clay traditions.All processing steps take place in a laboratory with artisanal procedures carried out strictly by hand.The piece is performed according to the "Vivid  Red" technique typical of Sicilian Baroque, and presents different floral compositions with warm colors, surrounded by an intense blue.The varnishes applied for the painting are with mineral colors, free of lead, therefore the ceramics can be used for food use, as well as decorative, to set up your table and furnish your home with a classic touch signed made in Italy.
